The International Taste & Quality Institute – iTQi designated Greece as its honoured country this year, which is why the organization held a special awards night on June 26, 2018 at the Divani Palace Acropolis Hotel in Athens. Specifically, the leaders of iTQi, together with the Belgian Ambassador and the Greek Deputy Minister of Rural Development & Food, presented the Superior Taste Awards to Greek producers who had excelled in the year’s competition.
JOTIS Sweet & Balance won three new Superior Taste Awards for all 3 of its participations: Bitter Chocolate, Chocolate Milk and Sweet & Balance Drinking Chocolate. For another year running, these awards distinguished Sweet & Balance products, which, through their commitment to taste and quality, once again proved that enjoyment can be and is part of a balanced diet. They were simultaneously important distinctions, as they were awarded by such a prestigious, recognized body.
The Superior Taste Award is one of the most esteemed international awards in the food and drink industry. It was established by the world-renowned International Taste & Quality Institute Awards – the leading independent organization of European chefs and taste experts, whose main objective is the evaluation, awarding and promotion of food and beverages of exceptional taste and quality. Product evaluation is carried out by recognized senior chefs, who are members of the 12 most prestigious European food institutions.
