INGREDIENTS
130 g (1 cup) light soft margarine
175 g Sweet & Balance Bitter Chocolate
550 ml (2 3/4 cups) milk, 1.5% fat
50 g (1/2 cup) JOTIS Cocoa
1 sachet JOTIS Baking Powder
350 g (3 cups) JOTIS All Purpose Flour
40 g (2 cups) Sweet & Balance Tabletop Sweetener
For the glaze
75 g (1/3 cup) milk, 1.5% fat
130 g Sweet & Balance Bitter Chocolate
PREPARATION
Melt the Sweet & Balance Bitter Chocolate in a Bain Marie. Place all the ingredients for the chocolate cake in the mixer bowl, along with the melted chocolate, and beat with the flat beater, until the dough is smooth. Pour the batter in a well-buttered and floured 35 x 25 cm glass baking dish and bake in a preheated oven on the convection setting, at 200°C, for 12-15 minutes.
For the glaze:
Bring the milk to the boil and add the Sweet & Balance Bitter Chocolate, cut in small pieces. Remove from heat and stir, until the chocolate melts.
Spread the glaze over the baked chocolate cake and serve.
