Portions per dessert: 17 Weight of portion: 25 g.
EQUIVALENTS: 2/3 EQUIVALENT SERVING OF STARCH AND 1 1/2 EQUIVALENT SERVING OF FAT
INGREDIENTS:
200 g. (1¼ teacup) JOTIS red (self raising) flour
100 g. (1 teacup) FYTRO oat flakes
25 g. (2 tablespoon) ground walnut
10 g. (20 level teaspoons)Sweet & Balance Tabletop Sweetener Granulated
170 g. (7 tablespoons) vegetable margarine
½ teaspoon cinnamon
a little vanilla flavouring
PREPARATION
Put all the ingredients together into the mixer and beat until they form a soft dough. Separate the mixture into 17 small balls and shape them into round biscuits (if you want, you can use a fork to make a pattern on the top of the biscuits). Put the biscuits on baking tray lined with baking paper, and bake in the oven at 200oC for approximately 25 minutes.
